Help Mike and Destiny Avoid Homelessness

Hello, my name is Mike and I live with my partner Destiny in Chicago, IL. In June of 2024, I reluctantly left my job due to mounting tension between myself and my boss after being promised what would have been a life changing promotion, only to have it unfairly taken away due to medical issues.

It took me a little over a month to find a new job, but the bills piled up and because the cost of living in Chicago is not cheap, we are behind on rent as well. At this point, we are very close to being evicted and becoming homeless. My partner Destiny also works, but it's not a very high paying job. We are scared and feeling hopeless.

I've created this gofundme as a last ditch effort to try and trade my artwork for donations. I make underground comics as a hobby/passion and I'm ready to part with my original artwork in order to survive and hopefully get back on our feet.

I am extremely humbled and embarrassed by having to ask for help, but I will personally send my original art to anyone willing to donate.
