I'm Mike's little sister Jodee. It is with super sad news I am announcing my brother Mike Alfred aka Buddha as most of you know him, is fighting for every breath on life support due to his COVID sickness.

Everything happened all so quickly. After being airlifted from his home town in Northern Michigan, he is now in the ICU unit in Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This has left him alone in a hospital without family and friends around. Our mom, Louise Alfred, is unable to leave her house as she is now under a quarantine at her home in light of everything. We are scrambling to get what we can together now in anticipation of things to come.

Thank you to all of the family and friends who have already reached out with kind words and offerings. At this time, financial help is needed. Any help you can offer to help out will be very beneficial in taking care of his needs as he is fighting for his life through all of this.

I will update things as we learn more. Please keep us all lifted up in prayer and pray a little extra for Mike and our family.
