My name is Mikael, and I play for the NorthStars, a youth soccer team made up of kids from around Rochester, MN. I’m from Austin, MN, and soccer has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. This year, I have the incredible opportunity to travel to Brazil with my team, where we’ll be training and playing matches against some of the top academy teams in the country. This trip is a dream come true for me and a chance to grow as a player by learning from some of the best in the world.

Getting to Brazil isn’t easy, and I’m raising funds to help cover the costs of the trip. My mom has always supported me and made sacrifices so I can pursue my passion for soccer, and I’ve been lucky to have coaches who have taught me and encouraged me every step of the way. Many of my family members have also helped along the way, cheering me on and supporting me however they can. Now, I’m reaching out to my community for help to make this next step possible.

Every contribution will go directly toward my travel expenses, helping me reach my monthly milestones and ultimately get to Brazil by March.
