In a recent change of events that came about fairly quickly, Mika (my 9-year-old wobbly cat) ended up with an aggressive cancer of her mammary tissue. I've already done one pricey surgery, not thinking I would have to do more. We had a mass removed locally then, but it likely won't be enough. The mass was fully removed, but reoccurence is highly likely. The only true route of treatment is to have both of her mammary chains (nipples/associated tissue) removed with an oncology specialist. It's going to consist of two surgeries within a month or so, doing one side at a time, to not put too much stress on her little body.

Having a decent job is not enough when it comes to having to get this done with a specialist. As much as I'd love to be made of money and do this on my own, I don't think I will be able to. For the sake of my baby and getting her cancer-free, I'm trying to do this as soon as possible before the cancer spreads to her lymph nodes, and potentially, the rest of her body.
