I'm a trans man who doesn’t have a supportive family, and I’ve been on HRT for months. Thanks to Planned Parenthood, I’m able to get my insurance-covered testosterone, and that’s been going wonderfully. But I’m still incredibly dysphoric about my chest, and I desperately need help to raise funds for top surgery.
For over six years—including all of high school—I’ve worn a binder every day. It’s taken a toll on my back, my posture, and my breathing, but it’s the only way I’ve managed my chest dysphoria. The mental weight of this never really turns off. I avoid public pools and situations where I’d want to feel comfortable in my own skin. Top surgery would give me relief I’ve never had: the chance to feel present in my body instead of constantly fighting it. It would mean more confidence, better health, and a happier life.
If you’re able to help or even just share my story, please know it truly changes my life. Thank you so much for reading and for any support you can give.
