Wereldkampioenschap Steak grillen in Texas!

Mijn naam is Lois en ik ben 13 jaar en woon in Zeewolde. Ik zit in de tweede van tweetalig havo/vwo.

Sinds afgelopen jaar doe ik, geinspireerd door mijn vader, mee aan de Steak Cookoff Association (SCA) BBQ wedstrijden in Nederland.

Hier blijk ik best goed in te zijn. Al bij mijn eerste wedstrijd eindigde ik in de top 10.

hierna volgde nog veel meer top 10 noteringen en de laatste wedstrijd van het seizoen werd ik zelfs 2de!

Door mijn goede prestaties heb ik een Golden Ticket gewonnen en mag ik deelnemen aan het wereldkampioenschap in maart 2024 in Fort Worth, Texas, USA.

Supervet dat ik mee mag doen, maar alles moet nog wel zelf betaald worden. Van de vliegreis, verblijf, vervoer tot de spulen voor het BBQen.

Van school heb ik goedkeuring gekregen om nu hoop ik op jullie steun zodat ik deze droom uit kan laten komen.

My name is Lois and I'm 13 years old, living in Zeewolde. I'm in 8th grade of a bilingual class.

Since last year, inspired by my father, I've been participating in the Steak Cookoff Association (SCA) BBQ competitions in the Netherlands.

It turns out I'm pretty good at it. In my first competition, I already ended up in the top 10. I continued to achieve many more top 10 rankings, and in the last competition of the season, I even became 2nd!

Thanks to my good performance, I won a Golden Ticket and I am able to participate in the World Championship in March 2024 in Fort Worth, Texas, USA.

It's really excited that I get to participate, but I still have to cover all the expenses myself, including the flight, accommodation, transportation, and BBQ supplies.

I've received approval from school, and now I hope for your support in making this dream come true.
