Mihajlo Stojanovic is a 14-year-old classical piano student from Belgrade, Serbia. He has been the student of Professor Tijana Casarsa for the past seven years. In the past four years, Mihajlo has won more than 25 awards at national and international competitions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, France, and Russia. His extraordinary talent and dedication to music have already earned him several local piano competition wins, and now he has been invited to perform at prestigious international competitions in the coming year. These opportunities are a testament to Mihajlo’s hard work and the bright future that lies ahead of him.
However, Mihajlo’s family is facing financial challenges that make it difficult to cover the costs of travel, hotel accommodations, and entry fees required for these international events. He has been invited to perform concerts this year at the London Royal Academy, Berlin Philharmonic, Kawai Concert Hall, Tokyo and Carnegie Hall in New York City. Despite their unwavering support and deep pride in their son’s achievements, they simply cannot afford the expenses on their own. Without help, Mihajlo may have to miss out on these once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to share his music with the world and represent Serbia on a global stage.
By contributing to this fundraiser, you can help Mihajlo take the next step in his musical journey. Your support will directly fund his travel, lodging, and competition fees, allowing him to pursue his dream of becoming a concert pianist. Mihajlo’s parents and I are deeply grateful for any help you can provide—together, we can help a young artist reach his full potential and make his country proud.
