Help Mihailo Stojković Fight Stage IV Cancer

In 2024, Mihailo Stojković’s life took an unexpected turn when he was hospitalized at Mount Sinai in New York City. After three weeks of intensive testing — including CT scans, MRIs, and a colonoscopy — he was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease.

But that was only the beginning.

Just a year later, during a routine ultrasound in Belgrade, Serbia, doctors discovered something far more serious — metastasis in his liver. After additional colonoscopies, MRI and CT scans, and a biopsy, Mihailo received devastating news in August 2025:

Stage IV adenocarcinoma of the colon/rectum with multiple liver metastases.

Despite everything, Mihailo has fought with incredible strength.

On September 3, 2025, he underwent laparoscopic surgery to remove cancer from his large intestine. The operation was successful — and in an incredible turn of events, follow-up tests showed that his intestines were completely free of Crohn’s Disease.

From October 10, 2025, to January 5, 2026, Mihailo endured six cycles of chemotherapy and biological therapy. The results gave hope:

His lungs are clear

Liver tumors reduced from 8.75 cm to 4.25 cm

His intestines remain healthy and disease-free

On March 9, 2026, Mihailo faced one of his toughest battles yet — an 8-hour liver surgery, where doctors removed 50% of his liver along with his gallbladder. The surgery was successful.

But his fight is not over.

The next phase includes recovery from this major operation, followed by additional chemotherapy and biological therapy in April/May 2026 to continue fighting the cancer.
