Help Mihaela Maria save her rescue

This fundraiser is to save Mihaela Maria's Animal Rescue. Mihaela is based in Agigea, Romania and has been saving abandoned and abused strays from the streets for numerous years now! 

Over the years we have seen some of the worst parts of humanity and the cruelty they can inflict on innocent animals, however we have also seen the hundreds of cats and dogs who have been given a second chance at life. We've rescued and rehomed them in the UK and across Europe but now we face a dire situation.

The land Mihaela keeps the animals on is being sold by the owners and they've given her 2 months to move out!! We need to raise the funds to buy a new piece of land to rebuild this rescue on. We've found land in a nearby village with basic structures already in place, we need €30,000 to purchase the land then whatever else we can raise to upgrade the new rescue to give these animals the safety and comfort they deserve.

We currently have blind and paralysed animals in the rescue as well as those who have been abused, if they have to go back onto the streets they don't stand a chance. At all.

Over the years we have seen the run down land she is on at the moment be transformed and cleared out from the previous occupant who was a severe hoarder. We've worked hard to clear out space and make structures to keep the rescued animals safe and give them a nice home whilst they await their forever families. Mihaela has done an amazing job of transforming this scrap heap into somewhere comfortable and safe for the animals to stay and I'm sure she can do this again with the security of having her own land. We have been limited in the past to building as we don't own the land but if we manage to buy this new piece of land the possibilities of what she can do there are absolutely endless.

I have just returned from visiting Mihaela and her babies and experienced first hand the overwhelming love and happiness within the rescue. The dogs are not caged and have free roam of the land to run, jump and play! And the cats live in the old house which gives them warmth in the winter and they have their very own balcony to soak in the sun in the summer. This is not a shelter or warehouse for rescued animals this lives up to the true definition of a sanctuary! We cannot let all that she has built and worked for be destroyed and all the good she has done to be reversed. 

I am asking all of my friends & family, and I have over 5000, from the bottom of my heart to donate £10 each to help us save her rescue, this is the most desperate situation we have ever faced and we need your help, please.
