Hello everyone, I am making this on behalf of my uncle Miguel. He suffered a stroke on Monday (Memorial Day) and has now lost his ability to move on the left side of his body. He is stable and awake, but remains unable to move. He is struggling to come to terms with what has happened, but is giving his all to recover.

My uncle is one of the most loving, caring and generous people you will ever meet. He will help anyone at a drop of a dime and give you the shirt off his back. He has been like a second father to my siblings and I, helped raise and care for us. Never expecting anything in return. This has been very hard on us.

He was independent and self sufficient before the stroke. Now, he will need all the help and support he can get. It is going to be a long road of recovery but we are hoping and praying that he will one day be independent again.

Anything you can donate will help tremendously. It will go towards his medical bills and his own personal bills, that my family and I will be taking over during his recovery. Hola a todos, estoy haciendo esto en nombre de mi tío Miguel. Sufrió un derrame cerebral el lunes (Día de los Caídos) y ahora ha perdido la capacidad de moverse en el lado izquierdo de su cuerpo. Está estable y despierto, pero sigue sin poder moverse. Está luchando por aceptar lo sucedido, pero está dando todo para recuperarse.
