Miguel has been in the hospital since October 21st. What we thought was sore muscles and back pain from being in the gym turned out to be a spinal tumor. Miguel had back surgery to remove as much of the tumor as possible and has been participating in physical rehabilitation at Golisano Rehab. Moving his arms and legs has been difficult, and he is currently using a power wheelchair to move around. With hard work and determination, we are excited to announce that Miguel will be coming home right in time for the holidays!

We are extremely appreciative of all the love and support that has been given to us during this process so far. Even though we are returning home, the journey is still ongoing! There are a lot of different expenses that are associated with the care and well-being of Miguel.

We are starting this fundraiser to help cover equipment, supplies, care items, and a permanent ramp for Miguel while he continues his rehabilitation journey. Miguel is a fighter and with the support of all his loved ones, we will be standing by his side the entire time. We are deeply grateful for all the support given to us.
