Help Miguel Recover From COVID

Our friend Miguel and his family need some help. Miguel tested positive with COVID on Wednesday, March 24th. He felt worse by the day and Kelly insisted she take him to the hospital on Friday, March 26th. According to his doctors, she saved his life. He already had COVID pneumonia and a blood infection. He was on oxygen and "mucho medicina" as he described it. They ran out of room in his arms for IVs and injections and put more in his stomach. He was released after 14 days with improving oxygen levels, some expensive prescriptions, possible months of recovery time ahead of him, and no insurance.

Kelly met Miguel about 15 years ago. He was washing dishes in the biggest , busiest restaurant on the island and she was working in the kitchen. They became friends immediately and Kelly always looked after him since he was so nice and such a hard worker. Miguel started his own painting business a few years ago after learning the trade working for a high-end professional company working on some of the most exclusive jobs on the island. Miguel's wife Jasmine works for an outstanding cleaning business and is a hard worker, but she's limited to working two days per week now because their son is remote learning. Their son likes the ocean and the beach, loves Spiderman and kindergarten, and even washes dishes willingly! He loves his Tia Kelly too.

Miguel is a hard worker, devoted family man, generous to a fault, and a good friend. His family is our family. We're doing this for him to help with his rent and living expenses until he can work again, help him with prescription expenses, and help with his medical bills totaling $21,000, so far. There are possible sources that can help with the medical expenses, but they're on their own for the rest and a month behind since Miguel got sick.

Any help will be greatly appreciated and go to the worthiest of causes.
