My name is Miguel, and for years I’ve been a long-haul truck driver, working hard to provide for my family. Life took a difficult turn when my daughter’s mother put me on child support and moved to California with my daughter. When I went to check on the child support situation, I was shocked to find out it was over one hundred thousand dollars. After a long and stressful process, I managed to get it down to five thousand dollars, but now my CDL has been revoked until I can pay off the remaining amount. This has left me out of work and struggling to make ends meet.

To make matters worse, I recently injured my right side and can barely lift my leg, which has made it even harder to get by. I know that if I can pay off the child support, I’ll be able to get my license back and return to work. The funds from this fundraiser will go directly to paying off the child support so I can get back on the road and support myself again. If anyone is comfortable helping with living expenses while I recover, I would be deeply grateful, but my main focus is resolving the child support so I can get back on my feet.
