Miguel, my brother, has been a pillar of strength for our family. He has lived in the United States for over eight years, working hard to establish his citizenship legally after marrying. On September 6th, 2025, Miguel was wrongfully arrested, and since then, our lives have been turned upside down. Instead of being given the chance to go through a fair trial, ICE became involved in his case and now wants to deport him. He is currently being held in Berlin, New Hampshire, far from the life and community he has built here.

Miguel has always been there for me, especially during my cancer treatment. He helped with daily tasks I could not manage on my own and provided emotional support when I needed it most. He is also the primary caretaker for our elderly mother, taking her to appointments, doing laundry, and grocery shopping.

Now, as a single mom juggling my own health challenges and caring for my family, I am doing everything I can to support Miguel. We have already spent a significant amount on legal fees to fight for his right to a fair trial, but the costs keep mounting, and we are running out of resources.
