Help Miguel Battle Stage 3 Cancer

On September 21, 2024, Miguel was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colorectal Cancer. He went in for a basic physical, which turned into a colonoscopy, leading to the discovery of a 3-inch cancerous tumor. We were lucky to catch it when we did, but had to act fast on the next steps. This gave us no time to adjust or prepare for the news we just received, being that Miguel is only 32 years old.

So far, Miguel has undergone 28 treatments of radiation along with chemo pills. He will now receive 8 cycles of IV chemo. The treatment is expected to take 4 months to complete. After his chemo, he will go straight into surgery to remove the growth. His treatment plan is aggressive, but he is a fighter and will continue to fight. Unfortunately, side effects of chemo have not allowed him to return to work and are expected to get worse with time.

Miguel is a father to two wonderful children, Adalyn (13) and MJ (6 months). He is a devoted husband, a son, a brother, an uncle, a friend, and a fellow IBEW brother.

This journey has been challenging and is just getting started. We are humbly asking for your support to help us cover surgery, transportation, medication, and treatment costs.
