On July 23rd, Miguel and Hannah's sweet boy Chicken was in a terrible accident and suffered life threatening injuries. He was rushed to the CSU veterinary hospital where he has remained in intensive care since. He has had many ups and downs since then, but he is a fighter and it’s a miracle that he is still with us. At this time, the doctor’s main concern is an acute liver injury that they are still monitoring closely, along with treating many ulcerations on his ears, paw pads, and inside his mouth. As you can imagine, the cost of current and future treatment has been exorbitant and has created a financial burden they could’ve never prepared for. They are asking for help with his medical bills which are now estimated to be over $6500 and may rise, depending on how well he responds to current treatment.
