Meet little 2.5-year-old Max, 7 days after being admitted to the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO), and being diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).

After a week of Platelets and Blood Transfusions, the quick onset of Rounds of Chemo, and the news that our poor little Maxie was going to have to undergo several years of Chemo to fight this - it was time to shave off Max's beautiful curls.

Mighty Max is now 3 and continuing his battle like a trooper. He has had several rounds of Chemo including intrathecal, IV, Injection and oral pills. On the whole, he is a happy little boy but struggles with constant nausea. He is on a prescription of ondansetron for this, which costs $200 a bottle.
Max's Mom had to quit her job to take care of him and bring him to all his MDU chemo appointments which are often 3-4 times a week.

Financially, the family is beginning to struggle. Medications for Max are not covered by a drug plan. They had to purchase a second used car to get Max to all his appointments and also be able to get Dad to his job. In the middle of this harsh cold winter they had to move to a new house because the one they were in was not safe for Max (landlord refused to deal with a mouse infestation). All these expenses are starting to add up and putting a financial burden and added stress on the family.

Anyway you could help would be greatly appreciated! Share this with your friends. Donate if you can. Every little bit will help Mighty Max in his Fight against ALL - Thank You
