Time is critical and I’m asking for help to save my dog. Ever since I was 7 years old, Midnight has been my loyal companion. She is now 17 years old. I’ll never forget the first time I got her. One morning I woke up and my mom had a little dog in my face that barely let out a bark. I was so happy! I had always wanted a dog, but little did I know that this tiny puppy would become someone I’d experience life with all the way into adulthood. She means the world to me and my family.
Recently, Midnight’s health took a sudden turn. Recently, she hasn’t been able to urinate or poop, and after rushing her to the vet, we learned she has large kidney stones in her bladder. The only way to help her is through urgent surgery, which requires her to be put under anesthesia. I’ve already spent a significant amount on emergency care, covering walk-in fees, bloodwork, x-rays, sedation, and more, just to get her stabilized. Despite these efforts, she still can’t pee, and the hospital estimates the next steps will be very costly. Without this surgery, her condition could become fatal very quickly.
We’re facing an unexpected financial burden, and any help, whether it’s a donation or simply sharing our story, would mean everything to us. Midnight has given me so much love, comfort, and happiness over the years, and I want to give her the best chance to keep living her joyful life. Your support will not only help save Midnight, but it will also keep our family whole. If you’re able to contribute or share, you’ll be making a real difference for a dog who means the world to us. Thank you for reading about Midnight and for any support you can offer.
