My name is Midey Ortiz. I am a mom of four. I have epilepsy and medications are no longer working for me. I am having seizures almost every day. I have to have brain surgery next month to help control the seizures. I have pre-op visits all next week in Charlottesville VA, over 2 hrs away. I will be in the hospital after the surgery for at least two weeks, possibly more. My husband is going to have to take a few weeks off of work to help me during my recovery and also take care of the children during my recovery. We won't have any income during this difficult time.
