Hi everyone! I need to ask for a little help from our MID Kid community.

As many of you know, our plays have grown over the last 2 years - bigger stories, bigger casts, bigger moments. But the microphones have always been our BIGGEST struggle. We’ve paid 18k pesos (about $1000 USD) to rent mics for every show, and every single time they’ve caused more stress than anything (sound cutting out, kids not being heard, tech issues we can’t control, and the worst part is the kids get NO rehearsal time with the mica because it isn’t ours and we’d have to pay another 18k pesos just to try them out for one day!)

I’ve been trying to raise the money slowly through our other events, but this is a huge investment, and I’ve realized I can’t do it alone...

Each set of 4 professional theater mics costs about $5,500 pesos ($300 USD), and to fully cover our main cast for the next play (Chauncey and the Chocolate Factory) - and for all future productions - we need 20 mics. That’s around $27,000 pesos (approx $1500 USD)

If our plays have touched your family, encouraged your child, or brought you joy, would you consider donating toward our microphone fund?

Any amount helps — truly.

… whatever you feel comfortable giving makes a real difference.

This upgrade will:

• Finally allow every child to be heard clearly

• Give our kids actual time to rehearse with the equipment

• Remove one of our biggest stress points

• Improve every future production

• Be used for years as our program grows

Thank you for believing in us and helping build something meaningful for these kids. ❤️
