Help Micro Preemie baby Paisleigh

On Monday, February  22nd at 2:41pm. Paisleigh June Jones was born at 23 weeks, 1 day gestation, weighing 1 lb. 4 oz. and measuring 11.5 inches long. She has already proven herself to be a fighter, even crying the moment she was born (an unusual feat for a baby born so early). She was immediately whisked away to the NICU, where she will spend the next few months under the care of a team of very experienced nurses and doctors. Needless to say, Lyndsey and James will be spending much of their time at the hospital for the duration of Paisleigh’s stay from now until at least June 20th her original due date. 

Over the past few days, Lyndsey and James  have gotten a chance to visit with, and touch, Paisleigh hopefully  they will be able to hold her in the coming days. Paisleigh’s stay in the NICU will be full of challenges to overcome, especially in the first few weeks. As they spend the coming months bonding as a family in the hospital, our goal, as their family, is to ensure that Lyndsey and James can focus all of their attention on their daughter. Along with their two little girls at home.  We hope to raise enough money to be able to cover their living expenses for a few months and put a dent in the many medical bills yet to come.
