For those followers n friends of Micky Shamo n for the lads n lasses that have taken delight in following Mick in his ups n downs adventures, Mick has done a lot in the background for youngsters n has donated himself towards some causes n never claimed any credit for it, some of the youngsters having special needs, he took them out for days with his hawks n dogs thus putting smiles on their faces n giving them some memories of worth.

Many folks won't know, but Mick is suffering from ill health, being so long outdoors is taking its toll.

Folks think he has a romantic way of life, but the harsh reality is that it is a endurance n suffers a lot of hardship behind his smile.

Micks working partners ALWAYS come before him n on many occasions he has gone hungry whilst the hawks n dogs took presidence over any food.

Mick has been forced too relocate, n on my last visit too him on his new plot, I realised that things wasn't right for him.

The land is sterile apart from berries n fungus he can forage with very little meat n work for his partners.

My point being is, Mick is stuck on this plot of land, although he may seem happy enough, the reality is that he is suffering with no real means of work n feeding his partners n himself n in my opinion he is deteriorating both physically n mentally, which will eventually have a knock on affect on his working stock.

I'm of the opinion that WE can ALL help n get Mick n his stock through the winter n out where he belongs n off the rain sodden ground that he is currently on.

A lot of lads n lasses follow Mick n constantly praise n in awe of the way he lives n not really of the understanding the harsh realities his way of life commands.

So I suggest that the lads n lasses that follow Mick n his stock on their adventures could each provide a little help in the way of donating just a little sum of money n try n get Mick on the road with a fit for purpose large van which he could convert for his stock n himself as a mobile home as his current one is of no use n ready for the scrap heap.

It's already been a wet one for him n winter isnt upon him as yet, so please donate just a £5 the#n WE can enjoy Mick n his exploits again as well as keeping him n his stock safe.
