Continuted Prayers needed for full healing!

Updated : 8/19/24-Mickey's doing good! Getting around pretty good! He's able to get out in his shop and work on knives so you know he's grateful for that :-) Goes to full weight on both feet tomorrow but still in his boot until September! Back to work date still set for 9/23. Prayer request continued please!

Updated 6/29/24- adjusting slowly but surely. Long way to go!

Hey everyone! Most of you know Mickey and his outgoing, sweet, will do anything for anybody personality! He’s a very hard worker and dedicated husband, friend, and Furdad! All he knows how to do really is work… I mean he’s been at the same job for 22 years now I think. 21 or 22..

We found out today that his foot has been broke in two spots for quite a while now and he has continued to work and persevere through the pain and discomfort continuing to work and serve and do the best he can. He is going to have surgery next Tuesday. June 25th, 2024. He will be on a knee scooter I think is what they called it for 6 weeks absolutely no weight bearing and then if going good 4 more weeks light weigh bearing in a boot. Off work for at least six weeks. After careful calculations we have determined he will be without a paycheck for around 8 week if everything goes good, as we expect and pray it will! So we have carefully calculated the goal amount of bills only he pays for those 8 weeks.

With him being the main bread winner for the family we are reaching out to ask for help during this time. He does have some vacation time to help but it won’t cover the full time off work. So we’re trying to fill in the gaps for bills, groceries, and medical expenses. We have someone to help us out temporarily but we will have to pay them back and this is where we’re asking for your help. Anything is greatly appreciated! If you can’t give we completely understand it’s hard times for everyone right now. Either way just keep Mickey in your prayers during this time for complete healing :-)
