Hi everyone,

As some of you may know, I've been a caregiver for 2 family members for 10+ years now. Due to issues with the state of Florida's Medicaid system and the current administration, the small caregiver stipend I used to receive has been cut, without proper notification and timely warnings.

I've also been dealing with long-haul Covid symptoms that have gradually worsened in the last 5 years. I've been caregiving with very little support from my extended family. Caring for a person with dementia and another with health complications from cancer, etc., has taken a huge toll on my physical and mental health.

Before the pandemic, I was in and out of the emergency room for other health issues that also took a toll on my health. At this time, I'm completely burned out, exhausted, and need medical care. If I've ever supported you in any way, please consider donating. It would make a huge difference.
