Hello, my name is Mick. Those who know me understand that I’m not someone who asks for help easily, but I’m reaching out now because I truly need support. In November 2025, I moved into a new house and started a new job on October 15th. Everything was going well until just after Christmas, when I became very sick with pneumonia and had to miss several days of work. Right after recovering, I came down with strep throat, which meant missing even more work. Despite having doctor’s notes, I was let go from my job on January 13th, just two days before my probationary period ended.

As if that wasn’t enough, nine days later, while driving to a friend’s house, my blood glucose dropped unexpectedly. A deer ran into my path, and I lost control of my car, hitting a tree and totaling my vehicle. I am also a bilateral BKA, and I currently have no insurance, no job, and no vehicle. It’s incredibly hard for me to ask for help, but I’m facing a situation where I can’t do it alone.

I need financial support to pay my share of the mortgage, keep up with utilities, afford my insulin and testing strips, and cover everyday living expenses. I’m also hoping to get another vehicle so I can look for work and manage my medical needs. Any support you can offer would mean so much to me and help me get through this difficult time.
