We are Michigan Manzat, the University of Michigan's only co-ed South Asian Fusion competitive dance team! Previous Michigan teams Izzat and Manzil have been competing for over 10 years, and this is our second year as a fusion of these two teams - and the first time in the last 6 years that a team from the state of Michigan has qualified for our circuit's national championship known as Legends! We are very excited to bring our performance to North Carolina, but this is proving to be very expensive. Any help is greatly appreciated to assist in funding our trip to North Carolina on April 15th.

While we are affiliated with the University of Michigan, we do not directly receive funding from the university. Previously this season, we have traveled to Colombus, OH, Madison, WI, West Lafayette, IN, and Philadelphia, PA for four competitions, all of which were funded on our own. We drove our own cars, rented cars externally, and paid for flights on top of competition registration and production fees. We raise money through social events on campus and gigs. While these have helped tremendously to take the load off of our members, it has simply not been enough, especially considering we have one more competition ahead of us. We are working to create the best version of our set possible, and this on top of travel and registration fees is not affordable to the members of our team. Any donation would be greatly appreciated for helping to relieve costs.
