Help Save Michi’s Life
This is our kitten, Michi. He is 4 months old, and the toughest little guy I know. Poor Michi has had a series of health issues over the past month, and ultimately came down to being diagnosed with FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis) which is a terminal illness that mutates from a feline coronavirus. This is a very rare disease, that declines very rapidly, days, maybe weeks.
Unfortunately, there is no definitive cure for this devastating illness, it has a 100% mortality rate. Although, new research has been done about medical drugs and feline antiviral medicine and with that, there is a glimmer of hope that something out there can possibly help our baby. Michi will need at least 12 weeks of treatment. This medicine is very expensive, but it’s our boy’s only chance at life.
It’s heartbreaking to write this, and this has easily been me and my partner’s hardest obstacle. We have shed so many tears already, and been through so much with our sweet kitty. We are not ready to say goodbye. We are both first time kitten owners, and we are desperate to try anything we can to prolong what we know could be an incredibly sad outcome and maybe even save his life. Please donate whatever you can, we would be so grateful.
