first we would like to say hello to everybody!

We want to tell you a little bit about our cousin and friend… Michelle has been with the love of her life for 10 years and between them they have four great kids! Unfortunately, Tim works out of state on a regular basis and hasn’t been able to be by her side for the appointments thus far.

 Michelle is one of the nicest gals you could meet and has the biggest heart. She has been a hair stylist for over 25 years and most recently teaches at a cosmetology school which she loves.

   

Michelle was recently diagnosed with colorectal cancer and after many tests, scans and biopsies, It was determined to be stage 4rectal cancer, with involved lymph nodes and has metastasized to her liver. Mid February Michelle sought out a second opinion at mayo clinic and today she is very confident with the team of doctors that she has between St. Cloud and Rochester. Michelle is currently undergoing chemotherapy in St. Cloud, but travels to Rochester on an ongoing basis, as well.

We are praying that she will have a good response to the chemotherapy and be able to have radiation and eventually surgery. Both the colorectal and hepatobiliary (liver) surgeon were very encouraging as long as there aren’t any huge setbacks.

Unfortunately, Michelle is not able to work at this time or for the foreseeable future. Medical bills, monthly bills, gas, hotel stays, prescriptions, and loss of income have all been a bit overwhelming And her fight has just begun. We are asking for your help in supporting Michelle through this difficult journey. It will be a long road, but she is determined to win this battle. Prayers and well wishes are just as needed and so very appreciated. Thank you and God bless you all!
