As many friends and family know, my sister Michelle, better known as Moose, and her husband Zach have been trying for 6 years to conceive a child. They have been through countless fertility treatments and doctor appointments. Throughout the process, doctors discovered that Moose had Endometriosis. She had to undergo a procedure to remove it. This was just one more roadblock on their journey. After many unsuccessful attempts with fertility treatments, and two rounds of IUI, Moose and Zach, along with their doctors, have determined the next step is IVF.
They have begun the process of planning and preparing for IVF. As many know, IVF is very expensive, a total of around $10,000. Moose and Zach have made many changes in their lives to plan for this financially. It hurts me deeply that anyone would have to do this to fulfill the dream of having a baby.
Moose and Zach kept this mostly private for a long time, as it was emotionally and physically exhausting. Only recently have they begun to share their journey with everyone, and as a result have been overwhelmed with love, support, and prayers. Many family members and friends have asked if they can help and if there is a GoFundMe. Moose and Zach would never ask for anything, but I, as her sister, and hopefully soon-to-be aunt, am asking for anyone that would like to help to donate or share. Moose and Zach are not aware I am doing this, but it has been their dream since they started their life together 15 years ago, and I would rather ask for forgiveness later.
Please donate or share to help Moose and Zach live out their dream of becoming parents, without the financial burden of IVF. The goal is set at $10,000, as that is the total cost, but we are just hoping to help in whatever way we can. Please do not feel obligated to donate, we just had many people ask. Your love and support already means the world to them.
Thank you to everyone for keeping Moose and Zach in your thoughts and prayers, and for showing your support through all of the messages and thoughts you share with them.
