Hey, I’m Brooke and I’m trying to raise money for my best friend Michelle who has unfortunately been in and out of the hospital for the past 35 days now. O the 24th of January her husband, Ken rushed her to the ER where she underwent an emergency surgery. Her intestines decided to go inside each other and twist into a giant mess (). Cut from her pelvic bone to her breast bone with 27 staples but beyond lucky to be alive. Since then however doctors haven’t been able to fix the problem bc the problems been so unclear. Every time they’d release her she ended up right back in the er with in 24 hrs. Last night she was rushed back to the hospital where she now has a tube down her nose and they’ve decided she’ll stay for at least the next two weeks until her body’s strong enough to undergo surgery. I plan to update this with all the technical words and a better picture of all going on later and as her journey continues but wanted to get this out there as soon as possible. Unfortunately her job does not offer short or long term disability and Kens been out of work here and there as well to be with her. She shouldn’t have to worry about loosing their things or home. Michelle has always gone out of her way to help others in ways she never had to and now she needs that same love given back.
