Hi, my name is Michelle, and asking for help is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. Anyone who knows me knows I’d give the shirt off my back or my last penny to help someone else. But today, my family is facing something we never expected, and we truly need support.
A few days ago, my husband Dave suffered a massive stroke. The clot was so large and the swelling so severe that doctors had to perform emergency surgery to remove part of his skull to save his life. He was having continuous mini-strokes, and they had to act quickly to stop the damage from getting worse. Right now, Dave is in the hospital fighting—day by day, hour by hour. We are praying for healing, guidance, and the strength to get through whatever comes next.
Dave and I have been happily married for 19 years. Together we raised three beautiful children, all grown now, and we’ve always believed in working hard and helping others whenever we could. We’ve never been the type to ask for anything. But this has turned our world upside down. Between medical bills, lost income, travel back and forth to the hospital, and the unknown road of rehabilitation ahead, we’re struggling. Anything you can give—no matter how small—would be a blessing to help us stay afloat while Dave continues to fight. If you can’t donate, please share this link, or keep Dave in your prayers. Your love, kindness, and support mean more than words can ever say. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. —Michelle and Mckenzie, Glen and Wil.
