Our sister-in-law, Michelle Strom, needs a liver transplant.

Michelle Strom is facing one of the biggest challenges of her life — a liver transplant. Despite her strength and positive spirit, the journey has come with overwhelming medical expenses, including hospital stays, medications, and ongoing treatments. On top of that, the out-of-pocket costs for travel, recovery, and follow-up care exceed $20,000 and have created a heavy financial burden that she and our brother Doug simply cannot manage alone. Estimated out-of-pocket transplant costs are projected to exceed $80,000.

Additionally, she will need to remain near the hospital for subsequent care for an extended amount of time and resides 4 hours away.
