Hi everyone,

My name is Andrea, and I don’t usually post things like this, but I’m asking for help for my best friend, Michelle. She just moved to Hawaii this February, finally making her dream a reality after years of hard work, traveling, and building toward this new chapter in her life.

Last night, everything changed in an instant. A sudden flash flood hit the North Shore of Oahu, and she woke up to her home filling with water and her car already submerged. There was no warning. Within moments, she lost her house, phone, purse, car, laptop. Everything she owned.

If you know Michelle, you know she is one of the most selfless, kind, and genuine people. She would do anything for anyone, and it is incredibly difficult to see her go through something like this. She is now facing the unimaginable with no home, no transportation, and none of the basic essentials she needs to work or get through each day.

If you are able to donate, the funds will go directly toward helping her secure safe housing, transportation, and the essentials she needs to begin again.
