Help Michelle Pietzke Continue Her Vital Work

Michelle Pietzke, affectionately known as “Mouse”, a very dear, devoted, effective, and respected friend of both the animal and human communities, has recently lost her dear friend, fellow animal lover, and devoted partner, Joel Ivy, on December 27th, 2024. With his help, she was able to help hundreds of animals and humans while volunteering for the wonderful non-profit, Magnificent Mutts Rescue for 9 years. Together, she and Joel had provided love and care to over 100 dogs, helping them find their forever homes. She has facilitated numerous transports of large food donations and dog rescues, ensuring the smooth operation of Mag Mutts' critical services. But that's not all - Michelle is also a go-to hero for lost dogs. She selflessly drops everything to assist with recoveries and trappings, bringing hope and relief to desperate owners. She has also helped in providing pet food to many struggling families, and volunteering her time during microchip pet clinics.

As a truck driver, she has facilitated numerous transports of large food donations and dog rescues, ensuring the smooth operation of Mag Mutts' critical services.

Since the passing of her partner, Joel, and being on the road a lot, she now has no one to take care of her fur babies. She has been left with no choice but to take them on the road, too. Unfortunately, she had to find a home for Mango, her largest dog, since he cannot fit into her truck.

Friends, we are asking you to do whatever it is you can to help Michelle get back on her feet since these two losses have been devastating to her. Considering just how much she has devoted her life to helping animals and people, we in the animal community only see it fitting to give back whatever we can afford.
