Help Michelle Live Comfortably with SPS
Donation protected
Family and friends,
It's Taurus season and time for Michelle's birthday!
Michelle was diagnosed with Stiff-person syndrome (SPS), a rare acquired neurological disorder characterized by progressive muscle stiffness (rigidity) and repeated episodes of painful muscle spasms. Her condition is exacerbated by stress, anxiety, loud noises, sunlight, or nothing at all. It is debilitating. It is progressive.
SPS makes it challenging and painful for Michelle to get around, write, type, smile, talk, and even sleep. Her treatments also mean that she's immunocompromised, and it's unsafe for her to even go to the store.
Michelle moved back to Michigan last March so she can have the additional support of her family to care for her needs and take her to doctor appointments. Michelle is on disability and receives support in an amount that doesn't even cover her rent, not to mention food, internet, phone, etc.
Please consider making a gift today to show Michelle how much we love her and want to help her have the most comfortable life possible.
Thank you, thank you, thank you,
Melissa
