Help Michelle Lay to Rest
Donation protected
A tragic accident took the life of a dear friend of mine a few days ago. At the very young age of 44, on her way home from her second job, Michelle Darwins vehicle turned upside down in a river along side the road in Idaho and she drowned before paramedics arrived at the scene. Michelle was a loving mother to Lane, Jolene and Breanna Phipps, and an amazing grandmother to her 4 grand children as well as one grandbaby on the way. In addition to being a mother and grandmother, Michelle was a very dedicated worker and spent the majority of her life working for the local laborers union and many refineries between Whatcom county and Idaho. When she was working in Whatcom County, she would often stay with her mom and her last living sister of 5 children. Her only son is currently incarcerated in Clallum Bay Corrections with the possibility of being let out to see his mom one last time before she is cremated. However the expenses for the release as well as the preparation of her body is going to take a toll on the family and we fear that we will not be able to come up with the funds for a proper goodbye. As most of you can imagine, a situation such as this cannot be taken lightly and the whole family want to be able to say goodbye one last time. All three of her children grew up in Custer Washington and attended Custer elementary school. Most of the family still live in Whatcom County and are focusing on how they are going to get her home again and get her son home to see his momma one last time. The sudden loss of Michelles kind spirit has left all of us heartbroken and unsure of how to cope. Any contribution will be whole heartedly appreciated.
