"Help Michelle Jacobi - a Cancer Warrior"

Michelle Jacobi has been a pillar of support to so many others throughout her life, it's our turn to support her.  She compassionately, lovingly and bravely fights cancer each day.  She works, gives to others and supports, encourages and listens like none other.  She doesn't feel comfortable asking for help, as she is usually the one to offer help to others.  Four years ago, Michelle found out that she had stage 4 non-small cell lung cancer (adenocarcinoma) that had spread to her brain.  It was a shock to all her knew her, as she exercised regularly, ate healthy and never smoked.  Cancer doesn't care about those things.  Michelle underwent gamma knife radiation treatment for the 9 lesions in her brain in 2015 & then in 2019 for a new growth that had appeared.  Michelle will continue to fight cancer.  However, due to her much smaller income (due to only being able to work 1/4 time, and due to expensive medication, and regular, numerous medical appointments and scans, and more on the horizon), funds are low and debts will only grow.  Now is our chance to rally around her and show her love and support.  Any gift is appreciated, no matter how large or small or in-between.  She would use these gifts to help towards the cost of doctors appointments, chemotherapy(Afatinib, or "Lady A" as Michelle affectionally calls it), gamma knife radiation of the brain, flights for second opinions if/when more progression occurs and other medical needs as they arise.  Our community is a better place with a generous, kind, inspiring and gentle spirit like Michelle Jacobi in it.  Let's do what we can to keep her here longer!
