My name is Michelle Schubert, and I am reaching out for help during an incredibly difficult time. About a year ago, I moved out of my own house and in with my parents to care for my dad, who was battling cancer, and my mom, who had Alzheimer's. Six months later, my dad passed away, and just three weeks after that, my mom also passed. After their passing, I discovered they had a second mortgage on the house that I didn't know about, and the bank took the house, leaving me homeless.

Now, I am trying to rebuild my life and find stability again. I need help finding a place to live so I can take care of myself and my little black and white dog, who has been with me since she was six weeks old and is now 10. She’s my baby and has been by my side through everything. The funds will help us get back on our feet and find a safe place to call home. I am also in the process of trying to get my disability started due to having spina bifida, which has made things even harder.
