Help Michelle get cancer treatment in South Africa

Sadly, Michelle, (our sister, mother and wife) has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer.

She unfortunately lives in Zimbabwe and given the pitiful financial state of the country, treatment in Zimbabwe just isn't an option (there are limited medical supplies, drugs and chemo treatments).

As such, she has had to urgently travel to South Africa (RSA) to get specialist consultation and treatment. The diagnosis has found that she has the HER2 gene, she has 2 cancer growths in her breast and sadly this has also spread to 3 lymph nodes.

She immediately received the first chemo treatment in RSA and has managed to buy an additional 3 treatments to take back to Zimbabwe. She will take these across the next 9 weeks (1 treatment every 3 weeks) (Cycle 1).

After this, she needs to return to RSA at which time she will have a full mastectomy and purchase several other treatments - Herceptine (a total of 14 further treatments are required along with several re-visits to RSA to check progress etc.). Total treatment time will be approx 54 weeks.

To help her (and her family), and as suggested by several friends, we have setup this GoFundMe page to provide a platform for family and friends around the world to make donations, should they wish, to help her family cover the massive costs they will face (the entire treatment program - medical / drugs, Chemo / Herceptine, surgery, specialist consultations etc. plus travel / accommodation costs will be at least AUD$95,000!).

As a family we have managed to raise AUD$15,000 already to cover the first visit to RSA including all specialist consultations, treatments and travel costs. To cover all future treatments another AUD$80,000 is required.

We are now embarking on raising funds towards the next 2 cycles (Cycle 2 and 3) of her treatment with a target of AUD$29,000 and would appreciate your help with this..... every little bit will help.
