Hi! I'm Michelle, or "Hydra" in the frisbee world. This July, I will be traveling to Germany to compete in the Under-24 World Ultimate Championships and I would love your support!
My story
I came to college wanting to play a new sport and wondering if any team could match the wonderful experiences I'd had in high school soccer and softball. While tossing a frisbee on the field outside my dorm during the first week of classes, a pair of enthusiastic older players came over and encouraged me to come learn ultimate. I immediately fell in love with the sport and the team, and had the privilege of playing alongside some of the best players in the country. Inspired by the excellence around me, I developed an insatiable hunger for improvement. My sophomore year, we won college Nationals. I captained the team my junior and senior years.
Ultimate has given me some of my most cherished memories, my deepest friendships, and most important life lessons.
After a written application and a grueling tryout process, I received an email this month that I was selected to represent the USA on the Women's National team! I get to go to Germany for 2 weeks, play with excellent players from around the country, and compete against excellent players from around the WORLD! Wow. Which brings us to...

The 2019 World U24 Ultimate Championships will be held in Heidelberg, Germany on July 13th-20th. This incredible opportunity comes with a significant financial cost. Between transportation to the training weekend, to the tournament, room & board, tournament fees, and other expenses, the estimated cost of the trip is between $2700-3600.
