Michelle is my close friend, and she’s been through so much lately. She has serious heart problems and needs to travel to Morgantown for testing and a possible heart transplant or heart pump. For a while, she was taken off the transplant list because she couldn’t make her appointments, but now she’s back on it and determined to fight for her health.

Recently, after one of her medical appointments, we were in a car accident that totaled our van. A truck forced us off the road, and we hit a wall, destroying the back of the vehicle. Now, without a car, it’s nearly impossible to get Michelle to the hospital and the appointments she needs to stay on the transplant list. She’s currently in the hospital in Morgantown, trying to get her fluid levels under control, and the stress of not having transportation is making things even harder for her.

We’ve found a minivan that would be perfect for Michelle—it’s easy for her to get in and out of, and it would make all the difference in getting her to her treatments. We need help with the down payment so we can get her back on the road to recovery. If anyone can help us, we would be so grateful.
