Help Michelle Get to Cancer Treatment

Donation protected
My name is Michelle, and just three weeks ago, my life changed dramatically when I was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. Before this diagnosis, I was working hard to make ends meet by driving for Uber, renting a car to earn extra income. I have also been living on a fixed disability income due to other health issues, so every bit of extra work helped me stay afloat.

Yesterday, I underwent surgery to resect my colon tumor. Unfortunately, during the procedure, my doctors discovered that the cancer had spread to my peritoneal lining, which means I am now facing stage 4 cancer. The road ahead includes three to six months of chemotherapy, followed by another surgery on my colon and to remove the affected peritoneal lining. This news has been overwhelming, but I am determined to fight and do everything I can to get through this.

One of my biggest challenges right now is transportation. Having a car is essential for me to get to my chemotherapy appointments, pick up medications, and manage daily needs during treatment. Without reliable transportation, it will be incredibly difficult to keep up with my care and recovery. Any support you can give—whether it’s a donation or simply sharing my story—would mean the world to me as I face this challenging time. Thank you for being part of my journey and for helping me hold onto hope.
