I'm a single mom living in Stockbridge, working hard to support my two children. My 12-year-old son is autistic and has bravely battled cancer, including a bone marrow transplant. He still requires monthly infusions at Mott's Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor, which are essential for his recovery and health. After my husband and I divorced, he took our only car, leaving me without reliable transportation. I borrowed a family member's vehicle for a while, but it recently broke down, and the repair costs are more than I can afford.
Without a car, I'm struggling to get to work and, most importantly, to take my son to his life-saving treatments. There's no public transportation from Stockbridge to Ann Arbor, so having a vehicle is absolutely necessary for our daily life and my son's medical care. I'm doing my best to provide for my kids, but this setback has made things incredibly difficult.
I'm reaching out for help so I can continue working and make sure my son gets the care he needs. Any support would mean the world to us and help us get through this challenging time. Thank you for reading our story and considering a donation to help our family.
