Hello Everyone!
I'm making this fundraiser for my sister Michelle Wilcox. For those of you who don't know her, she is a brilliant and beautiful soul who recently received some shocking unfortunate news.
Back in 2017, Michelle was diagnosed with breast cancer. Fortunately then, she underwent surgery and the cancer was successfully removed. For the next 3 years Michelle underwent routine checkups, all of which were cancer free up until recently..
This past August Michelle and our family received the shocking news that her cancer has not only spontaneously returned, but is now in at a life threatening stage. The prognosis we were given is that without treatment, Michelle may have 4 months to live. However there was an opinion that if aggressively treated , her cancer may be survivable.
As you all know medical costs can be debilitating, especially for Michelle who currently doesn't have health insurance and cannot work in this state. This is why I've decided to create this GoFundMe page. Michelle is the last person to ask for help, so I took it upon myself to reach out.
My sister is a beautiful person, inside and out. Everyone who knows her loves her, and that's because she cares about others, and wants the best for everyone she comes in contact with. The world needs someone like Michelle in it and I want to do everything in my personal power to keep her here, especially for her seven year old, Alex.
I hate to put a dollar amount on a donation goal, as we're not sure what the costs will be, however any donation will be immensely helpful to Michelle and our family.
