Help Michelle Battle Her Brain Tumor

My name is Marissa, I am Michelle’s daughter. I’m still in disbelief that I am having to make this and say this. On Sunday June 29th my mom was brought into the emergency room due to falling multiple times, being dizzy, and struggling to put words together. A CT was done and they would a golfball size tumor located where her spine connects to her brain. She was transported by ambulance to Mayo’s Saint Mary’s Hospital campus in Rochester MN where she was put in Neurology ICU as she was unable to respond to any one and tell them simple things like her name, DOB and naming simple objects like a pen. After getting an MRI it showed that she had built up spinal fluid because the tumor isn’t allowing it to flow like it should. Today July 1st, Mom had her first surgery where they drilled into her skull to redirect the spinal fluid. In three weeks she will have another surgery to hopefully remove all of the tumor and they will be able to find out if benign or malignant. With all this being said she I’ll be on extreme restrictions and unable to return to work for sometime so she can recover and gain her strength back. The last thing I want my mom to have to worry about is her everyday bills along with the mountain of medical bills she is about to get. Anything will help ♥️
