Hello,

In the spirit of Christmas, I’m raising funds for a wonderful coworker of mine, Michelle Wilcox. Michelle and I both work as servers, but while I only have to take care of myself, she’s doing everything she can to support four children on her own — all while battling breast cancer and paying for treatment.

Despite everything she’s going through, Michelle shows up every day with strength and determination, working hard to provide for her family. With the recent cuts to SNAP benefits, I know this holiday season will be especially difficult for many families like hers.

Michelle would probably never ask for help herself — she’s humble and hardworking — but no one should have to miss out on the joy of Christmas. My goal is to raise enough to give to her before the holidays so she and her children can have a warm, comfortable, and memorable Christmas together.
