Help Michelle After Hit and Run Accident

Hi,
I hate asking for help but I have no choice. I was on my way home from work early Sunday morning and while stopped at a traffic light, my car was hit by either a driver under the influence or who fell asleep at the wheel. Either way, they drove off after about 15 seconds after me and my friend were too afraid to get out of the car in case they were dangerous.
I had acrylic nails on so one of them bent back off of the nail bed, and one just completely ripped off. I banged my head somewhere, I hurt my arm, and my back. My friend hurt their neck and back pretty bad as well.
When the cops arrived, they ran the plate number and it came back as unregistered so I can’t send a claim to them. My car is older so I only have liability insurance, and the damage is going to total out the worth of the car. Sadly, I’m just taking that as a total loss at this time. I don’t know exactly when I’ll be able to go back to work, as the paramedic treated me like I was just a girl making up the pain of two nails being ripped off.
Then, while waiting for AAA to arrive and declining three tow truck drivers that miraculously arrived and wouldn’t leave the scene, a car sped up behind me, almost hitting my car. They busted a U-turn, pulled up next to the tow truck drivers and started shooting. I had to leave the scene, speed home in a barely drivable car, and cancel my AAA tow.
The entire night was an extremely traumatic turn of events.
I estimate I will hopefully be able to go back to work in 7-10 days, but I really have no idea. I need to see my chiropractor soon, and that’s not covered by insurance. As rent is due next week and my leasing company is very strict with paying within three days before throwing on expensive late fees, I really need help. I also have my Sallie Mae loans due within the next week, and I haven’t really been able to save since finishing school.
I really appreciate anything anyone can spare if that’s even a dollar. Thank you so so much in advance for those that help.
