Hello, I recently just learned that my friend/coworker Michelene just had a major, unexpected event. A sudden and unexpected fire tore through her home, destroying everything she owned. Everything from her furniture, clothes etc., to her car keys is completely gone.

Thankfully, she made it out safely, but she escaped with only the clothes on their back. No phone. No keepsakes. No essentials. Just herself.

Right now, she is staying with a friend while she tries to figure out how to rebuild. Insurance can take weeks or even months, and many everyday necessities aren’t covered at all. She’s going to need help replacing basic items like clothing, shoes, toiletries, and meals.
