Several years ago, our sister Michele had won her battle against breast cancer. Then, out of nowhere, she started having seizures that the medical professionals all dismissed as being caused by electrolyte imbalances, vitamin deficiency, or who knows. Turns out, the cancer had metastasized to her brain.

We've been given news that no one ever wants to hear about a loved one who should have so much more life to live. Michele is now entering her final stages of life.

To know her is to love her. She has so much spunk and spirit and such a big heart. It's so difficult to see her now in so much pain and suffering, least of all to be out in Louisiana so far from the rest of her family in her last days.

We need to get Michele back home with her family in UT so we can care for her here. According to the doctor, she is not fit to fly or to be transported via car/van. That leaves us with limited viable options to get her home. The cost associated with getting her here, her medical care costs, etc., are daunting and hard to bear on our own.

We want Michele's final days to be surrounded by family, filled with comfort and dignity, rather than the stress of unpaid bills. We are raising funds to help cover:
