“She was a tiny light, but she shined bright enough to touch every soul around her.”
In Loving Memory of Ivy Joi
It’s with heavy hearts that we share the heartbreaking news of the unexpected passing of sweet Ivy Joi — a radiant baby girl who brought new light, love, laughter, and purpose into her mother Michelle’s life.
Ivy transitioned peacefully in her sleep on the morning of Tuesday, April 8th, just shy of her first birthday on May 28th. She was only 10 months old.
In her short time here, Ivy left a lasting impression on everyone around her. Her smile was pure sunshine — warm, contagious, and impossible to forget. She was a beautiful baby girl whose presence brought healing, laughter, and unexpected joy to her mother, family, and community.
For Michelle, Ivy was more than a daughter — she was a precious gift. Their bond was sacred — full of lullabies, story time, playtime, and the kind of quiet love that fills a home with meaning. Ivy changed everything. Her arrival shifted Michelle’s world in the most powerful way.
Now, in the midst of unimaginable grief, Michelle is navigating the emotional and financial weight of saying goodbye to her baby girl. While she works hard, her income is neither steady nor sufficient to cover the cost of this unexpected loss. She's in urgent need of support to cover the cost of cremation, a memorial service, and essential expenses during this period of mourning.
We’ve set a goal of $10,000 to cover:
- Cremation, funeral, and memorial service expenses
- Short-term financial relief for Michelle to grieve without added financial pressure
Every donation — no matter the size — helps Michelle and her family walk through this devastating moment with dignity, care, and the support of a compassionate community. If you’re unable to give, we ask that you keep Michelle and her family in your prayers and help us by sharing this campaign.
“Do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.”
— Hebrews 13:16 (NIV)
With deepest gratitude,
Michelle and Family
